OUR FUNDING DISCLAIMER
The Disability Advocacy Project has been funded by the Department of Communities. However, in order to further the level of impact, we have used funding from the Department of Social Services to enhance the overall effort.

The combination of these two funding sources has led to the development of our website and other communications channels, our research, the online legal referral tool, our legal referral phone line and the staff who manage those referral calls. The funding has also enabled us to provide our online referral form, training for the community sector and host informative and consultative events.

This carefully applied combination of public resources has delivered a referral service much larger than the original scope of the Disability Justice Project and in a way that will be sustainable way beyond the funding end date.
