Consumer Rights for People with Disability | Article

Know your rights

We offer information to people purchasing goods and services related to disability, including those registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have the right to expect a product or service to function properly. If it doesn’t, you may be able to ask for a repair, replacement or refund. You have the right to honest and correct information. Salespeople cannot lie to you or not tell you only part of the information. You are entitled to fair treatment.

The following links will give you more information on your rights when making a purchase or entering into an agreement.
